What a great coaching call!! We heard of over 40 baptisms that happened, church locations purchased/moved into, 300+ ministry hours of summer engagement, and so much more. We heard so much about transitions and changes, and were grateful for the reminder from Pastor Mike Wright who shared a reminder that even in the midst of transition, our focus still needs to be on our mission. If you are in the midst of transition, never loosen your hold on the promises that God has for you.

Pastor Dave Jacobson shared how his church focused on engagement over the summer, centered around this idea that while the staff needs a break, the church does not. Founded on Hebrews 10, spearing each other in good works, without neglecting to meet with each other. God led them to host Summer Suppers. Essentially, asking the church to share a meal with someone within the church who you want to build a relationship with and share a meal with someone outside the church as a gospel opportunity. AND GOD MOVED. In the month of July, 115 meals were shared!! People met neighbors, friends going through difficulties were encouraged, people who would never have connected, made intentional connections and loved their neighbors as God calls us to.
